Happy New Year!
I just thought I'd share the last few
experiences I enjoyed in 2008...
Mommy and I baked cookies for Santa.
Don't they look delicious!?
He ate them and must have liked them
because he brought me a play kitchen!
It even came with grill... Daddy says that's
a "manly" kitchen.
Oh yes, and he also brought me a
Cookie Monster! As I said upon seeing him,
"So cute!"
The great thing about holidays is seeing my family
like my cousin Noah. He's even cuter than
Cookie Monster, don't you agree?
He even got to play Baby Jesus in the annual
Knutson Family Nativity pageant.
So angelic!
Christmas morning we were dressed in our
matching jammies with our matching
GROVERS! Woo hoo!
I also got a cool back-pack to carry my
cars and Sesame Street friends in!
By far, my favorite part of Christmas
was playing with the trains in Papa's
basement! Papa even let me run one of the trains!
Christmas day I went to see the Thorson family
and got even MORE great stuff!
Here I'm practicing to be a vet, using my
stethoscope to listen to my kitty.
Grandma and Grandpa gave me a sled. Grandpa
even gave me a ride around the living room in it
since it was too dark out.
I eventually got to go out in the real snow and
ice in my sled. It was AWESOME... I couldn't
stop smiling!
I could show you another MILLION photos (Mommy
and Nana are a little "picture happy!") but I think you
get the idea... I had a WONDERFUL Christmas.
I hope you all had a great Christmas too!
I hope to see you soon!
Peace out!

Leaves, Halloween, and Snow!

Okay okay okay...
I know its been a while since my last post
but the life of a one-year-old doesn't always allow
time for blogging!
I'll start with some old pics and they'll lead into the
WINTER pics!My first professional haircut.
I just won't allow
Mommy to cut my hair any more
but I'm an
"angel" at the salon! Go figure!
Just working on my letters while wearing
my Potato Head glasses!
You know... important stuff!
My first trip to Night Eyes at the Blank Park Zoo.
I saw lions, tigers, and NO bears! bummer
I was a monkey but I liked the leopard better
than the real monkeys (they were boring)
Here's the costume...
and here's Daddy taking me Trick-or-Treating.
I was so polite I told everyone "Your welcome"
when they gave me candy. Mommy says we need to
work on that one!
Ahhh... remember the fall leaves?
They were so much fun this year.
They only lasted one week and now they are gone forever.
Enjoying the last nice fall day before winter.
My baby cousin Noah was baptized in Minnesota
on November 9th. Look how big he is!
He's so cute. I'm just not quite ready to hold him yet...
stop pressuring me everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Noah and I love our Nana and Papa!
I'm thankful for them!
I'm also thankful for my big cousins, Dalton and Makenzie.
Here I am being big like Dalton.
Finally SNOW!
I love the snow!
I'll even risk a runny nose to play in this stuff!
Shovel?
Nahhh... its more like a big spoon for eating
snow!
Here's the man!
This is my buddy Santa.
He's going to bring me some great stuff this year.
Notice, Elmo had to go with me. Elmo asked for his
friends Grover and Cookie Monster to come live with us.
With cabin fever setting in, Mom and I decided to
go camping in the living room. This is our
"cave" that we shared with other animals like my
tiger, monkey, giraffe, and many more.

Cousin Noah and Me

Guess who's here!
My baby cousin Noah was born August 20th
and he is so cute! I didn't get to meet him the
first day but Mommy drove up there to help
welcome him into the world. This is Noah with
HIS mommy and daddy, Aunt Anita and
Uncle John.
Hey... I think we are related... those
chubby cheeks look familiar! :)
Noah looks so peaceful...
I wasn't so sure about Noah the first time
I met him. I didn't want to hold him but I would
look at him for a couple seconds before exploring
Nita and John's house. (I've been practicing talking
about and taking care of babies at home so I'll be
ready next time I see him!)What I DID enjoy was all the construction going
on at Nita and John's. Papa's tools were pretty
cool!Papa even let me help with the cupboards.
I've got BIG muscles! After all that work, Papa and I went to
the pool down the block at Noah's other
Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Ahh... nothing like soaking the tired muscles! This is me at the Buddy Walk for my friend
Maxwell. I was on the Maxwell's Sluggers team
so I got a baseball on my cheek! I even got to see
the Chris Burke Band for a little while. Chris was
the actor that played "Corky" on a show called
"Life Goes On" MANY years ago! It was fun and
I danced for a while before I needed a NAP!
Just a shot of my new shoes. I LOVE my
new shoes and can't stop talking about them!Mmmmm..
Cooooorrrrrnnnn!Bubbles! Now that I'm a "runner" these
are much more fun!Labor Day weekend I got to check out
Uncle Todd's cool Harley Davidson! It's a lot
bigger than Daddy's because Todd's is a
police edition!
Okay.... a few more picture of my very HANDSOME
little cousin, Noah!
I love you Noah!

Peace out,
Lane

July!

Hello everyone!
It has been an eventful July! I've done lots
of fun things and Mommy has gone back
to work so I'm once again swimming most
days at daycare! Yippee!
I've got some pitures to share down below!
This is Mommy and me watching Sidney swim at
Easter Lake. She loves to play fetch!
THIS is where I swim!
Here I am during a break at the aquatic center.
Boy I wish I could help Daddy mow the lawn.
I'm just too little so I watch from the window.
(Check out those new windows Mommy and Daddy bought me!)
Just a-swingin'
July brings Deusey days in Garner!
I'm waiting for the parade to start!
We want candy! We want candy!
I love a parade!
After the parade, I got to go swimming at the new
Garner Aquatic Center!
This frog slide is AWESOME!Later that night, we went to another park!
(I'm spoiled)
I flew a jet backwards...
I went on a merry-go-round with Daddy...
and by myself...
and I got to swing on a big disk-thingy!
Wouldn't you know it, I got to go play the next
weekend in Eagle Grove!
(I told you I'm spoiled!)
Grandpa pushed me around in Uncle Matt's old car...
I got to try out Mommy's first set of wheels...
and I explored the equipment in the back yard!
Now I'm just anxiously awaiting the arrival of my
newest cousin. He's somewhere under the hands in
this picture but I can't see him. I have a feeling he's
gonna be really good at hide-and-seek!
Come out, come out, wherever you are!
August is almost here, so hopefully I'll post some pictures
of my new cousin soon!
Enjoy the rest of your July!
Peace out!
